The Tigers had their first loss of the season today. It was pretty depressing. Leading most of the game behind a dominant performance from Justin Verlander only to have four runs scored against them in the ninth inning. Bummer. On the plus side, I heard today that Victor Martinez doesn't need a second knee surgery, so he might be back playing before September. This could potentially be incredible. Our lineup is already doing ridiculous things. With another big bat we would be unstoppable!!! Prince Fielder didn't get any hits today. He was my pick in Beat the Streak for today, so I am back to zero. I was so close too. I only had 51 more consecutive correct guesses to go.
The game had two balks. One of those balks scored a run. I love a walk off balk. It is almost as good as a walk off walk. Or maybe better. I forget which one I liked more yesterday.
The weather needs to get nicer. Before it got warm in March I was running pretty regularly even when it was chilly. Now if it isn't lovely outside I sit here and write sad blog posts while watching Jeopardy! Speaking of which, some dude just risked seven grand on a daily double to go from way last to first. And the category was about Tony awards! What a lucky dog. I think he guessed.

We are men of action. Lies do not become us. P.S. you should do the nike+ thing for running if you're needing some motivation. I just spent some money I didn't have on a gps watch and using it and logging runs is pretty addictive. They've almost managed to turn running into a videogame. Plus if you started doing it I could have 2 friends on nike+.
